How to Install Glass Analytics with Shopify

1. Click 'Settings' to edit your site

   

2. Select 'Tracking Code' and then select 'Shopify'

   Make sure you select Shopify as the platform.

3. Copy the tracking script from Glass Analytics

   This tracking script is bespoke to your site.

   Copy the entire script including the opening and closing <script> tags.

4. In Shopify, go to Online Store > Themes

   From your Shopify admin dashboard, navigate to Online Store in the left sidebar.

   Then click on Themes to access your theme settings.

5. Edit your theme code

   Click on Actions for your current theme and select Edit code.

   In the Layout folder, click on theme.liquid to open it.

6. Add the script to your theme

   Paste your Glass Analytics tracking script just before the closing </head> tag in the theme.liquid file.

   Click Save to apply your changes.

7. Verify your script on Glass Analytics

   Your changes are now live on your Shopify store.

   Visit a page on your website to generate some traffic data.

   Return to Glass Analytics and verify that traffic data is flowing in.
